Exclusive Interview with Bella Davis
Starline Magazine: Bella, tell us about your childhood in Sweden.
Bella Davis:
I grew up in a very small town in Sweden where becoming a model didn’t feel realistic. Sports were actually my first passion. I spent almost 10 years competing in athletics and attended a sports school. Modeling felt like a distant dream back then.
Starline Magazine: How did modeling first enter your life?
Bella Davis:
When I was 12 years old, I was discovered on a train in London by Select Model Management. It was exciting but also terrifying because I couldn’t speak much English and didn’t feel ready to leave home. When I turned 16, I finally decided to give modeling a real chance, and everything slowly started changing for me.
Inspired by Fashion Icons
Starline Magazine: Who inspired you growing up?
Bella Davis:
I always admired Tyra Banks. Watching America’s Next Top Model made me believe big dreams were possible. I also loved Project Runway because it opened my eyes to the creativity and energy of the fashion industry.

Bella’s admiration eventually turned into reality when she appeared on Project Runway in New York, where she worked alongside talented industry professionals and received encouragement from fashion icons Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn.
Building Confidence Through Personal Growth
Like many aspiring models, Bella struggled with self-comparison and self-doubt early in her career. Instead of giving up, she chose to step away from modeling temporarily to focus on rebuilding herself mentally and physically.
Starline Magazine: What changed during your break from modeling?
Bella Davis:
I spent three years focusing completely on self-growth. I practiced yoga, Pilates, workouts, and brain exercises every day. That time helped me become confident and understand my own worth. Now, I don’t compare myself to anyone because every person has something unique.
Her renewed confidence became a major turning point in both her personal life and professional career.
Vogue, Elle, and International Success
Bella Davis reached major milestones when she appeared in globally recognized fashion publications including Vogue and Elle.
Starline Magazine: How did it feel seeing yourself in Vogue and Elle?
Bella Davis:
People always say you’re not a real model until you’ve done Vogue. So achieving both Vogue and Elle felt incredible for me. Those moments reminded me how far I had come from my small hometown.
Throughout her career, Bella has collaborated with internationally respected brands including Puma, Shiseido, Laura Mercier, Mary Kay, Kappa, and NARS Cosmetics.
Bella has also appeared in Honey 3: Dare to Dance, Bring It On, and the reality television series Ex on the Beach.
Fashion Week Highlights
Bella’s runway journey includes appearances at some of the world’s biggest fashion events, including London Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. Her elegance and confidence on the runway continue to attract international attention.
Now living in South Africa, Bella frequently travels across Europe for modeling assignments, fashion campaigns, and runway appearances.
Miss Woman 2025: A Powerful Tribute to Her Brother
Behind Bella’s glamorous career lies a deeply emotional story. She recently lost her brother at the age of 33, a tragedy that changed her life forever.

Starline Magazine: What does Miss Woman 2025 mean to you personally?
Bella Davis:
Competing in Miss Woman 2025 is deeply emotional for me because I’m doing it in honor of my brother. I’m representing Jamaica because the Jamaican flag was placed on his coffin. Winning this crown would mean everything to me and my family.
Bella’s strength, grace, and emotional resilience continue to inspire people around the world. Her story proves that even the most impossible dreams can become reality through determination, self-belief, and perseverance.
